Sensory Connection Part 2 is a project continuing on from Sensory Connection but with a more general focus on how textiles can be used to create multi-sensory stimulation, considering how everyone can become more connected to their environment through sensory design.
Within this project Louisa explored how textiles could be used to encourage interactivity and playfulness with our environment. This project was developed in Lockdown, as technology was increasingly dominating our daily lives, highlighting the importance of maintaining a physical connection to our surroundings through textile design.

This project takes inspiration from the geometric shapes and connectivity of circuit boards emphasising the removal of technology within sensory design, conducting a material exploration into how textiles could be used to create multi-sensory stimulation without the use of technology.
