Texture Perception

Louisa has always perceived the 3D structures and textures within architecture as very tactile, material surfaces. Throughout her MA at the Royal College of Art she has explored this link between these architectural textures and knitted textures to recreate these forms into tangible objects through the medium of textiles.

The colour palette for this project consists of only two contrasting colours focusing on the surface texture of the fabrics rather than colour.
